Intern – Web/Software Developer, Fayetteville/Conway/Little Rock, AR
Job description: Software Developer Interns work with development teams to meet project needs by developing and/or customizing applications. Utilizing business insight as well as technical and data processing knowledge, they interpret project requirements and translate those requirements into specific technical solutions.
Required work hours: 20 hours per week with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to work Monday – Friday between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Required skills: Strong oral and written communication skills; strong technical skills; attention to detail; ability to work in a team environment; continuous self-directed learning; project management; Linux; Javascript; HTML; Java or C/C++.
Nice to have skills: Oracle and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
Preferred educational criteria: Bachelor or Masters students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Math, technical majors or related areas of study. GPA: 2.75 or above. Seeking December 2010 or May 2011 graduates.
