*Position: Data Developer Intern, Little Rock, AR

Data Developer Interns work with data and technology products to discover, value, document and implement applications for new and existing data sources to improve Acxiom’s data and technology product offerings.  The Interns also help team members identify opportunities to increase current product quality and value, mitigate data-dependency risks, reduce data content acquisition and maintenance costs, and create a methodology for valuation of current and new technology and data.  The intern that fills this position will work primarily to help incorporate data from Census 2010 and the American Community Survey into Acxiom products.

Required Skills:

*Experience using Microsoft Office tools in academic or work related projects.

*Previous academic or professional experience using SAS or SPSS *Excellent communication and teaming skills.

*Strong attention to detail.

*Ability to work 3 days a week 15-20 hours per week during the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 semesters and up to 30 hours per week during the summer.

Nice to Have Skills:

*Academic and/or work experience using SAS.

*Academic and/or work experience using GIS tools and data.

*Experience working with U.S. Census data.

*Previous experience with file movement using FTP.

Preferred Educational Criteria:

*Students seeking a Bachelors or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science.  GPA of 2.75 or higher required.

*Job Title: Solutions Developer – Intern

Solutions Developer Interns will work with account teams to meet client needs by developing and/or customizing technical solutions.  Utilizing business insight as well as technical and data processing knowledge, they interpret client requirements and translate those requirements into specific technical solutions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

*Provide input to business solutions deliverables.

*Maintain and enhance technical applications.

*Produce documentation to validate system performance.

*Participate in design and analysis of systems and/or products.

*Develop custom software solutions to meet client requirements.

Required Skills:

*Strong oral and written communication skills.

*Attention to detail.

*Experience troubleshooting and resolving data processing issues in a work or academic project.

*Ability to work in a team environment.

*Continuous self-directed learning.

*Exposure to project management in a work or academic project.

*Understand software development practices and relational database principles.

*Position: Web/Software Developer Intern, Conway/Little Rock, AR

Software Developer Interns work with development teams to meet project needs by developing and/or customizing applications. Utilizing business insight as well as technical and data processing knowledge, they interpret project requirements and translate those requirements into specific technical solutions.

Required work hours:

*20 hours per week with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Must be able to work Monday – Friday between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Required skills:

*Strong oral and written communication skills; strong technical skills; attention to detail; ability to work in a team environment; continuous self-directed learning; project management; Linux; Javascript; HTML; Java or C/C++.

Nice to have skills:

*Oracle and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).

Preferred educational criteria:

*Bachelor or Masters students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Math, technical majors or related areas of study.
